Review:

From Epinion:

Jeffreylchan:

"The 2005 Air Pegasus stays true to the Pegasus’ roots as a back-to-basics shoe for efficient high mileage runners. Many other Nike models are more focused on style at the expense of running performance, but the Pegasus does not.

The Pegasus feels well cushioned with better stability than the 2004 Pegasus. At first, the shoe feels a bit stiff, but breaks in well within 20 miles of running. The shoe is not for runners needing more motion control to correct their running stride or larger runners. But for efficient runners, the Air Pegasus feels like a comfortable slipper. The relatively light weight of the shoe enhances this light efficient feel.

The style of the shoe has a traditional running shoe look and lacks the high style look of other Nike running shoes (Shox, Air Max). What the Air Pegasus does have is ample reflective patches for safer nighttime running. There are reflective spots on the heel, tongue and forefoot.

Like other Nike running shoes, the Air Pegasus offers a better fit for narrower feet with a curved shape. Fit in the heel is snug, but broadens in the forefoot. Outsole wear seems to be reasonable, but like any other shoe with an EVA midsole, the Pegasus should have a useful life of about 500 miles."
