I understand the nay sayers! But to make any mascara work just for YOU-you have to give it some trial and error time. I hated this mascara the first 2 weeks I used it-but it thickens up and goes on perfectly. When it gets too dry and clumpy I add a drop of my saline (for contacts) to extend the life. I am of the thin blonde lash persuasion-so mascara is a MUST to make me even have a face! This one is it!

I compare a lot of mascaras on here and I'm gonna do it again...this is a better version of Cover Girl Professional it does separate and lengthen colours evenly doesn't irritate all Almay's stuff is hypo-allergenic, you get volume after applying more than 1 coat. I didn't notice any curl but then again my lashes are stick straight.

I am very hard to please when it comes to mascaras. This month alone I have tossed out four tubes of them... no kidding. I'll try them out for a day, maybe two and if they don't perform well, I throw them out. I love Dior, Lancome and Estee Lauder formulations the best, so if I'm trying something different, it's basically a one shot deal. I tried this Almay formula which I got as a drugstore freebee expecting to be equally displeased. I can't get over how it lengthens, thickens, and darkens, all without clumping or smudging and all in one coat. I am amazed. At this price point, this is one of those "Where have you been all my life?" products.
